1. i don't see how this relates to the quran or to islam. al aqsa mosque is under muslim control.
2. how long do you need to occupaty land in order for it to be "yours"? i'm asking this since muhamad's decipals only conqoured the place at the 7th century.
3. i remind you people that allah promised the land to the Israelites and Daud (and Suliman) his desciple and therefore calling the land occupied is actually heracy and a kuffar act under true Islam. whoever put that image will not be rewarded as a shaheed but will recieve allah's punishment in the hearafter.

My understanding is that the original inhabitants of Palestine were philistines, who spoke a branch of Arabic, and were Arabs. This is confirmed by archeological evidence such as the finding of arabic in the 1st century in the negav desert. Some of the arabs then converted to Christianity, and later most converted to Islam. Whereas the vast majority of Jews who came in during the 21st century were of askhanazi stock, as opposed to semetic. In that sense the land is occupied. In addition the vast majority of Muslim countries consider Palestine to be occupied and since this is a Muslim centric wiki, that is the position that is held. of course there are a million and one websites, including many wikis where the zionist centric viewpoint is held. (1) i believe your understanding is incorrect to the point where the philistines did not control the land, but only a fraction of the land and they were not arabs (see image and article about them) - look to the bible for the stories of daud in detail rather than the skimmed quranic version. your statments about confirmation diggings could/should perhaps use some factual refrencing since there are many false rumors being spread by intersants who are bad muslims (and spread many more "factual" errors).

(2) ashkenazi jews, the name is merely based on the old name of germany and has very little to do with their true ancestry... it is used as a differentiator to the culture absorbed by the "mizrachi" jews who came from arab lands... that is to add the information that the majority were not ashkenazi since about 1.2 million mizrachim came in the 20th century... ethnically cleansed from arab lands as a result of the 1948 war.

(3) i agree that most sources claim palestine is occupied, but let's be honest here - the people who shout ("occupation") the loudest are usually the ones that are not cited here as valid Islamic opinion due to their tendancy to abuse "literary tongue" for political porpouses.

(4) anyways, i don't expect to change the world, but i think some facts have been scratched out of history pages and "revisionized" with false information.. and sometimes it's difficult to know the facts from the BS, esp. if everyone around you believes the BS.
