It would have been better if this website was on a .org domain, not a .com one. This is or should be a community website. .com makes it seem like from a single company.

A page depicting the policies of MuslimWiki may also be added to determine the nature and context of content. Personally, I think the material should include all topics as pertaining to Muslims and Muslim countries. For instance, a page regarding skyscrapers should focus on the skyscrapers in the Muslim world. Quran is the first reference for us. Why isn't there a "Today's Ayah" corner on the main page while there is a "Today's hadith"?

How to send pics and put in on the Muslimwikipedia articles....? If you go to help there is an editing summary, that tells you how to include an image on a page. If you haven't uploaded the image then you can either click on your new image tag when you have saved your page, and it will take you to the image upload screen, or on the toolbox on the left hand side there is an upload file link --WikiSysop

I agree it could do with rewording, so suggestions are welcome. The premise is that it is an encyclopedia about Islam and the Islamic world, as opposed to a western centric encyclopedia such as Wikipedia. I would say: "The Muslim Wikipedia is an encycolpedia edited by the Muslim community on a wide range of subjects and in particular, those related to Islam. Contributing is easy, just type in a subject in the search box. If it is there, you can edit it (see editing summary), if it isn't you can just create it, subject to the copyright laws MW Copyright Guidelines" . Note that for SEO - there should be main keywords repeated many times specially in the starting para.The descriptions should be detailed - using for example "on a wide range of subjects including Science and Technology,Politics,Sociology..." --Esharah 13:12, 12 February 2007 (GMT)
