Masjid (Arabic : مسجد ) or Mosque as it is more commonly known in English. Mosque in English refers to any building that is used for islamic worship. However there is a distinction between masjid and musalah, in arabic. With the masjid being a dedicated place to worship with all the facilites for wudu, etc. And musalah being just a place to perform prayer.
