completion 2007 CE (1427 AH) - 2012 CE (1433 AH) Dubai Festival city launched in 2001 is one of Dubai's Mega projects. Situated along the historic creek, Dubai Festival city is comprises three districts: Marsa Al Khor, Festival Center and Al Baida. The project runs along the City's waterfront Dubai Festival City is expected to house 100,000 people in some 20,000 homes upon completion[1]. The initial phase will exceed 6 million square meters in footage. It also purports to eventually host the Middle East's largest complex of hotels and recreational facilities worth Dh3 billion.

Construction for the intial waterfront has been awarded to Al-Futtaim Carillon to a tune of Dhs 3 billion.

Al Badia , along with Al Badia Golf course will comprise an extensive array of Mediterranean style apartments and town houses.
The Golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II will have its own iconic clubhouse. The club house is designed by Wimberly Allison, Tong & Goo . Along with the Marsa Plaza.
