AL-KAHF 18:58

" But your Lord(Ar-Rabb) is Most forgiving, full of Mercy. If He were to call them (at once) to account for what they have earned, then surely He would have hastened their punishment, but they have their appointed time, beyond which they will find no refuge."

Ar-Rabb is the one who nurtues and sustains all of his servants through regulating and governing their affiars and granting them all types of favours and blessings. More specifically, he is the one who nurtures and sustains his sincere friends by correcting and purifying their hearts. This is why their rememberance are frequentyl made with this Name because they seek this specific nurturing
